I know a place where crystal clear waters run fresh and free, straight from the mountain streams. Cool, invigorating, both in taste and touch, the silent waters dance unbroken upon the glassy surface. I know a place where the trees and leaves change with the seasons; with each winter, spring, summer and autumn. Pink, green, yellow, brown and bare, the petals and leaves flutter and fly through the air. Like a rain of soft coloured teardrops. I know a place, this place of peace, calmness, beauty and serenity. Undisturbed and unspoilt, beyond reach, yet complete. This secret place of colours, sounds and sights. Reflections and thought. I know this place. This special place. My place. |
